We wrote previously that we were nominated for a Scottish BAFTA for our game, Coolson’s Artisanal Chocolate Alphabet. Well, we won - Coolson’s is now BAFTA Scotland's best game of 2013! We couldn't be more delighted.

The awards night itself was great. The whole industry was represented, technicians, planners, management, celebrities and all the rest (yes, we did get to meet David Tennant, and unashamedly posed for a photo!). Coolson’s Nominated for a Scottish BAFTA

BAFTA logo

We’ve just received the exciting news that our iPad game Coolson’s Artisanal Chocolate Alphabet has been nominated for a 2013 British Academy Scotland Award, in the category of "Game"!

What an honour! It’s up against amazing, diverse competition in the shape of Mr Shingu’s Paper Zoo and the infuriatingly addictive Impossible Road.

We’ll learn who’s won at the awards evening on the the 17th of November in Glasgow. Wish us luck!

iPod & iPhone User Chooses Eucalyptus

If you're in the UK, you might have noticed issue 43 of iPod and iPhone User magazine sitting on the shelves of your local newsagent. We're thrilled that in its 100 Hottest Apps countdown, Eucalyptus is chosen as Best eReader, with a comment that it "bucks the trend, offering beautiful typesetting and a page-turn action that feels tactile and natural."

Coming hot on the heels of Wired and Macworld's choices, we couldn't be more delighted!

Eucalyptus in Wired's favorites of 2009

Hot on the heels of Macworld's accolades, Eucalyptus is also the only book app to be included in Wired's Twenty Favorite iPhone Apps of 2009, and one of only five apps in their "hobbies" catogory! Although we created Eucalyptus to provide a great reading experience, not to win recognition or awards, it's nevertheless very gratifying to be recognized by the 'big names'.

As with Macworld's choices, Eucalyptus is in great company in Wired's list - the other apps there are all well worth checking out if you haven't already (although your productivity may suffer after you try out Flight …

Eucalyptus Named Best Book App

Acrylic App Gems Award

Macworld Magazine has awarded Eucalyptus their 2009 App Gems Award for Best Book App on the iPhone and iPod Touch, saying that "The app is proof of how pleasurable reading a book on a small, handheld device can be." You can read the full awards article and see the list of other recipients here (and we're in great company - it's well worth checking out the other winners if you haven't already).

We're so pleased to receive this award. Macworld has understood exactly what drives the design and creation of Eucalyptus, and it's really gratifying to see it being so…
